    That was amusing. When I was a kid, this show was running on tv. I remember watching it sometimes.

    What is most interesting about this is that many things like gay marriage only became a partisan issue with the culture wars in the 1990s. Before that, many Republicans weren’t anti-gay and it wasn’t such a big deal. Reagan was the first president to have an openly gay couple sleep over at the White House. No one seems to remember such things these days.
